BYOD or Bring Your Own Device is a trend that is getting very popular among people these days. As the acronym clearly suggests, it involves bringing any device that you own from a laptop or a tablet and smartphone to the workplace. The popularity of this trend is down to the fact that most people bring their devices to the office anyway and allowing them to use it to access the office network can boost productivity. Moreover, it allows the companies to stop worrying about keeping up with the advancing technology.
